A story of wool, craftsmanship, and the ocean.

We'd been wanting to work on a slipper for a while.
But as is often the case at forlife, we didn’t want to just add a new product to the collection.
We had to find the right material, the right partner, and above all, a good reason to do it.

That's how this collaboration with Angarde.

It all starts with wool.

For this project, we wanted a natural, warm, comfortable, and beautiful material.

So we decided to go with French wool from Jules Tournier, a long-standing specialist in wool fabrics.

A beautiful fabric that’s naturally warm and breathable, making it particularly well-suited for slippers you’ll want to keep on all day long.

We chose two simple, timeless colors: a deep navy blue and a heather gray.

Angarde has been crafting slippers for years and has developed a true expertise in comfort, materials, and manufacturing.

The slippers forlife x Angarde are made in Spainat Angarde’s partner workshop.

On one hand, French wool.
On the other, Spanish craftsmanship.

And in the middle of it all, two French brands that wanted to create a beautiful product together.

A collaboration, our way.

PTo tell the story of this collaboration, there are no big studios or artificial sets.

We met up in Biarritz—where I live—with Alexandre, the founder of Angarde.

We talked about our brands, manufacturing, materials, and what had inspired us to work together…

And, of course, that famous slipper.

We took the opportunity to film the whole thing, take photos of the product, and give a little behind-the-scenes look at this collaboration.
