General terms and conditions of sale and online purchase of non-personalised products and use of the website
Article 1. Scope of application
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of non-personalised products without the intention of reselling them by non-professional buyers on the forlife website.
Customised products are understood to be products presented in the "made to measure" category and made according to specifications specific to each customer who orders them and are not governed by these general terms and conditions of sale.
Any order or pre-order for a product appearing in the online shop of the website www.forlife-paris.com assumes prior consultation of these general conditions and their acceptance. Consequently, the customer acknowledges being perfectly informed of the fact that his agreement concerning the content of the present general terms and conditions of sale does not require the handwritten signature of this document, insofar as the customer wishes to order online the products presented within the framework of the shop of the site.
Article 2. Ordering and buying on our website
2.1 Eligibility to order and purchase
In order to be able to place an order on our website, you must have the legal capacity to do so and not purchase a product with the intention of reselling it.
2.2 How to order
It couldn't be simpler!
- Add products to your cart by clicking on the "Add to cart" button.
- Once you have finished your selection, place the mouse cursor on the basket and check its contents. Confirm by clicking on the "Order" button.
- If you already have an account in our e-boutique, identify yourself using your e-mail address and password in the section "You already have an account? Login" section.
- Check your order.
- Check your delivery and billing addresses carefully
- Choose a delivery method. For more information, please refer to articles 5 and following.
- Choose your method of payment and proceed to checkout. For more information, please refer to articles 3 and following.
In the case of a pre-order, delivery times are indicated on the product page.
Your order becomes final, as it appears on the screen, as soon as you validate it at the end of the ordering procedure.
Once the payment has been made, a confirmation of your order and payment will be sent to you by e-mail. Forlife advises you to keep these, as they can be used later. If you have not received an e-mail, it may be in your spam folder or the e-mail address you entered may be incorrect. In this case, you can send an email to hello@forlife-paris.com.
Attention, your order becomes final and commits you from the moment you proceed to its payment.
2.3 Refusal of an order or cancellation of a purchase.
forlife reserves the right to refuse an order on just cause.
forlife also reserves the right to cancel a purchase (order accepted) for good reason.
Justified refusal of orders and cancellation of purchases do not give rise to any compensation, but to the reimbursement of the price of the products if it has been paid.
Reasons for this may include: preorder targets not met; product not available (you may wait for restocking or for a refund); incorrect or unverifiable bank details; order identified as unusual or susceptible to fraud; payment not received by bank transfer or cheque within 8 calendar days of acceptance of your order; we have reason to believe that your purchase is for resale; the selling price indicated on the website contained an error; the address you have provided is not within the geographical scope of delivery.
2.4 Data control
forlife reserves the right to control the personal and banking data that you provide when creating your account or placing an order.
Article 3. Price/Payment
3.1 Methods of payment
PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD :
For this type of transaction forlife works in partnership with Stripe and Alma.
Payment in 3 installments with Alma. If you pay for your order in installments, you accept the following Alma's general customer conditions. You can pay in installments for any purchase of more than €1.00. There are no charges applicable to the customer.
3.2 RESERVATION OF OWNERSHIP
forlife retains ownership of its products until full payment of the price of its products has been received.
3.3 Price and currency
The prices are indicated Value Added Tax (VAT) included.
Shipping costs are not included in the prices indicated on the products. Shipping costs depend on the delivery method chosen and the place of delivery. The shipping costs must be added to the prices of the products for the calculation of the total amount to be paid.
3.5 Breakdown of the total price
The total price to be paid is the sum of the price of each product in the basket and the shipping costs. It is indicated to you during the last step of the payment procedure.
3.6 Price changes
forlife reserves the right to modify the price of the products indicated on its website. The prices appearing at the time of the validation of the order are the prices applicable to this purchase.
3.7 Price Errors
In the event of a manifest error on the price of a product, forlife is not bound by its offer and will give you the possibility to cancel your order or to confirm it at the actual price of the product that will be communicated to you by forlife.
Article 4. Security of transactions
forlife uses a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol to secure transactions. It is currently one of the most effective encryption protocols. Your banking information is encrypted throughout the payment process and is not stored on a public server.
Despite all our efforts to make payments secure, there is still a low risk of fraud. Forlife cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the use of electronic means of communication and payment.
Article 5. Shipment and delivery
5.1 Place of delivery
We deliver the products worldwide.
When registering the customer's personal details, the customer must ensure the accuracy of the mandatory data he or she provides. In the event that the delivery address that you have given us proves to be inaccurate or in the event that the delivery service is unable to deliver your package for reasons for which you are responsible, the costs of reshipping the package that has been returned to us will be borne by you.
5.2 Delivery times
Delivery times are indicated at the time of ordering. They are estimated times, corresponding to the average processing and delivery times.
In the case of a pre-order, the estimated delivery time appears on the product sheet at the time of purchase, and in the FAQ of the site. The delivery time depends on the time required and the production volume of all pre-ordered products.
forlife cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery that is not of its making or is due to an act of force majeure.
5.3 Mode of delivery
forlife offers three modes of delivery:
- Standard home delivery (48 to 72 hours on working days): it is made by Colissimo France without signature at the postal rate in force on the date of the order.
- Delivery to a relay point (6 working days): it is carried out by Mondial Relay without signature at the rate in force on the date of the order.
forlife is not liable in case of an error when the customer enters the delivery method. In the event of an input error, the client will be responsible for the reshipment.
5.3 Split Delivery
In the case of a pre-order with products that have a different estimated delivery date, delivery may be split according to these delivery dates.
In the case of a classic order, forlife tries as much as possible to deliver all the products of your order at once and in the shortest possible time. However, forlife reserves the right to deliver the products of your order in installments in cases where for logistical reasons or availability of products in stock a delivery in one go would be impossible. In such a case you will be informed by email and no additional shipping costs will be charged.
Article 6. Shipping costs
6.1 Shipping costs
The amount of the shipping costs depends on the type of delivery chosen. During an order this amount is indicated to you when you choose the delivery method.
6.2 Orders from Outside the European Union
For shipments outside the European Union, products are billed excluding tax (HT).
Customs duties, local taxes, and processing fees may be charged by the authorities in the destination country as well as by the carrier at the time of delivery. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
forlife cannot be held responsible for these fees, which are beyond its control and are not paid to it.
It is the customer's responsibility to check with the local authorities in their country regarding any applicable fees before placing an order.
Article 7. Returns and cancellations
7.1 Cancellation of a pre-order prior to delivery
You can cancel your pre-order before the end of the sales periodTo do so, just send us an e-mail to hello@forlife-paris.com. After that, it will not be possible to cancel it. but you can return your order to us upon receipt.
7.2 Returning defective products after delivery
- Sewing to be resumed: 15€.
- Tear to repair : 10€.
- Remaillage of a sweater: 10€.
- Button to be replaced : 5€.
forlife undertakes to comply with its legal obligations as set out in the articles extracted from the Consumer Code and the Civil Code below :
CONSUMPTION CODE - ARTICLE L211-4
"The seller is obliged to deliver a voucher in conformity with the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. He shall also be liable for defects of conformity resulting from packaging, assembly instructions or installation when the latter has been charged to him by the contract or has been carried out under his responsibility. Consumer Code - article L211-5
To be in conformity with the contract, the property must:
- be fit for the use ordinarily expected of a similar good and, where appropriate : - correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities which the seller has presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model: - have the qualities which a buyer may legitimately expect in the light of public statements made by the seller, by the producer or by his representative, particularly in advertising or labelling.
- or have the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or be suitable for any special use sought by the buyer, brought to the knowledge of the seller and accepted by the latter. Consumer Code - article L211-12 The action resulting from the lack of conformity is time-barred after two years from the delivery of the goods. Civil Code - article 1641
The seller is bound by the guarantee on account of hidden defects of the thing sold which render it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or which so diminish this use that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would only have paid a lower price for it, if he had known about them. The action resulting from redhibitory defects must be brought by the purchaser within two years from the discovery of the defect."
7.3 Returning products after delivery without reasons - Right of withdrawal
If you are not satisfied with the products ordered, you can exercise your right of withdrawal and return them to us free of charge (from France) within 14 days of receipt of your order, as evidenced by the postmark. For returns outside France, the return is at the customer's expense, and must be made to the following address:

For withdrawals in our forlife store, the return must be made in the same store, or in case of impossibility, the return must be made at your expense to the following address:

The Product must be returned by the customer in its original packaging in perfect condition and with the original label. If the package is lost or damaged when the product is returned, the cost of the damage will be charged to the customer.
Products that are not returned within the above-mentioned deadlines and conditions will not be refunded or exchanged by forlife as mentioned in article 7.4.
The exercise of the right of withdrawal is materialized by the return of products and is dated the day of sending the products returned postmarked as proof.
If you choose to return your product for a credit note, we will create a code for the value of your product and the shipping cost paid at the time of order, within 14 days of receiving your return.
If you choose to return the products on a cash on delivery basis, we will refund the price of the products excluding shipping costs within a maximum of 14 days. The refund will be made to the credit card used to pay for the order within 3 to 5 working days.
For any return made beyond 14 days following the reception of the part, we will propose you directly a credit note. Indeed the returns allow us to proceed to exchanges after the delivery of the parts. After 14 days, your product can no longer be used as an exchange and will unfortunately be stored unnecessarily.
7.4 Refusal to return
The return will be refused and will not be refunded in the following cases:
- Labels and blisters (plastic sleeves) have been removed and are not included in the return.
- Products have been washed, used or worn except for a simple fitting
- The product is not complete. If your order includes different products that are not linked together (non-exhaustive examples of linked products: pair, inseparable set, etc.), you can return only part of your order. Only returned products will be refunded.
- The products have been modified or denatured
Article 8. Information relating to reimbursement
The cost of returning defective products or products that do not conform to your order will be fully refunded to you (shipping and return costs).
Article 9. Exchanges
Exchanges are possible within the limits of customer returns. As we only produce what we sell, we have no stock. Exchanges are generally processed within 15 days of receipt of your return package. If we don't find the right size within this time, we'll offer you a refund or credit note!
For exchanges, we take care of the return of your product to our premises*, and the sending of your exchange to your home is at your expense (according to the shipping rate in force: 9€ for a Colissimo home and 5€ for a Mondial Relais point).
For orders picked up in the shop, exchanges will be made available in the shop.
*Forreturns outside France, the return is at your expense, and must be made to the following address

Article 10. Promotional codes (discounts)
10.1 A promotional code entitles the holder to a one-off discount on the purchase of one or more products under the conditions stated on the promotional code.
10.2 Promotional codes are personal. Promotional codes are inalienable and may not be sold, bartered, exchanged or made available to the public, whether free of charge or in return for payment, on a website or any other communication medium without the prior, express and written authorization of forlife.
10.3 Promotional codes issued by forlife can only be used on the website www.forlife-paris.com
10.4 You may only use one promotional code per product.
10.5 Promotional codes cannot be combined with other promotions.
10.6 Promotional codes are not redeemable for cash.
10.7 Promotional codes are non-refundable.
10.8 forlife reserves the right to cancel a promotional code if it is not used in accordance with the above.
Article 12. Validity of tenders
Our offers are valid as long as they are visible on our website or between the dates indicated in the case of a fixed-term business transaction.
In case of manifest error in the offer, forlife is not bound by its offer and will give you the opportunity to cancel your order or confirm it under the actual conditions of the offer.
Article 13. Responsibility
forlife is only liable in the event of a breach of its contractual obligations under the terms of the applicable legislation.
forlife cannot be held liable for any damage suffered by a third party resulting from the use of one of our products.
forlife cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from your misuse of any of our products.
forlife is not liable for damages resulting from erroneous information on its websites.
Article 14. User-Generated Content
14.1 Any content added to the site www.forlife-paris.com by users of the site (opinions, ideas, comments, votes, articles, photographs, films, drawings, creations in particular) and made public on the site becomes the property of forlife.
forlife reserves the right to use it, to publish or not publish the content added by users and in any way whatsoever.
Article 15. Law in force
These general conditions, as well as all disputes that may arise from them, or that result from the use of the website(s) or purchases made on the forlife websites, are governed by French law.

forlife is not responsible for the use or content of the websites it links to.
forlife is not responsible for the use or contents of websites that provide a link to the forlife website.
Article 18. Intellectual Property Rights
forlife is the owner of the brand names, names, denominations, product titles, drawings, models, photographs mentioned on the site. www.forlife-paris.com which are either registered trademarks or trademarks, or drawings, models, works subject to an intellectual property right.
Article 19 - Information Technology and Freedom
In accordance with the provisions of the law of 78-17 of January 6, 1978, amended in 2004, this website has been declared to the Commission Nationale Informatique et Liberté (CNIL).
