The leather overshirt
We decided to work on a leather overshirt because it is an iconic piece of the men's wardrobe that we particularly like, a chic and simple piece to wear on any occasion! We worked on this overshirt respecting the iconic style of the piece in the manner of the vintage Façonnable overshirts: 2 flap pockets, horn buttons, and tone on tone stitching for more elegance.
Flexible and comfortablewe wanted it to be versatile so that you can wear it over a t-shirt as well as over a sweater or under a layering coat.
Our leather overshirts are part of our approach to always offer you iconic, responsible pieces, produced without overproduction and at the right price.

The details
100% goat suede leather
Made of 100% suede goat leather! A full grain leather with a thickness of 5-6mm that will patina and accompany you for life!
An exceptional piece
Its particularity is that it is not doubled, which gives it this flexibility and this side "second skin" that we adore. But it implies a consequent handicraft work to have impeccable interior finishes.
LWG certified
The workshop we work with has obtained the LWG (Leather Working Group) certification which guarantees a sustainable and responsible production of leather .
Versatile
Soft and comfortable, this overshirt is versatile, so you can wear it over a t-shirt as well as over a sweater or under a layering coat.

Our workshops
For the making of the leather overshirt, we trusted our long-time partner INTEX with whom we started the forlife adventure with the launch of our very first leather jackets in 2018! This workshop based in India is specialized in leather, certified LWG Leather Working Group) which guarantees a sustainable and responsible production of leather. The workshop has been working for over 30 years, with some very nice premium brands. During our visit, we really appreciated the environment and the proximity between the employees of this workshop.

Mondial Relay > Delivery fees in France are 5€ whatever the number of pieces you buy.
Paris: You can choose free collection directly from our concierge service at 5, rue Froissart 75003! It's more environmentally friendly!
Outside France: The price of the delivery is calculated according to the weight of the order and the destination.
Delivery times
The principle of pre-ordering is that your product is not yet produced! We start the production of your parts in our workshops once the sale is completed. This avoids overproduction and waste, and allows us to offer you the best price. On the other hand, you have to wait an average of 3 months before receiving your order! But we promise that your patience will be rewarded! You can find our delivery times on the product page.

Returns, exchanges and refunds:
Order without fear, returns are free! If the product is not to your liking, you have 14 days from receipt to send it back to us free of charge. Your product must be in its original condition with all its brand labels. Exchanges are possible within the limit of customer returns, as we only produce what we sell we do not have any stock.
For all exchange or return requests, simply fill in this form and follow the instructions!
For exchanges, we will take care of the return of your package, but you will be charged for sending your exchange (5 euros, the price of a colissimo).

At forlife. no pressure, you can test before approving.
We work our products and so we announce serenely that you will be satisfied or refunded.
If the cut, the color, the size or the material does not correspond to your expectations we assure you that you can return the room within 2 weeks (14 days).
Upon receipt of this one, returned in the original packaging and in perfect condition of resale, we will proceed to the refund.

- LWG certified: guarantees responsible and sustainable leather production
- Maintenance: waterproofing is necessary from the first use and after each contact with water. In case of stains, apply a special suede rubber. You can find all the detailed care advice for your jackets here
The preorder principle allows us to avoid overproduction and waste. The production minima of fabrics and factories are particularly important in the calculation of our objectives. In order for the parts to be launched into production, we must reach these minimums.
