Rules for the “Surf for Life” Contest
Article 1 – Organizer
Gentleman Surfer, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €115,000, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 524 191 210, with its principal place of business located at 5, rue Froissart, 75003 Paris, operator of the forlife brand and the forlife-paris.com website (hereinafter “the Organizer”), is organizing a free contest with no purchase necessary titled “Surf forlife” (hereinafter “the Contest”).
Article 2 – Term
The Contest is open from the time it goes live on forlife-paris.com until November 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Paris time).
Article 3 – Conditions of Participation
The Contest is open to any individual of legal age residing in metropolitan France, excluding employees of the Organizer and their families. Participation is free and requires no purchase.
Article 4 – Terms and Conditions of Participation
To participate, the player must:
- Play the game at forlife-paris.com/pages/jeu;
- Finish a game by reaching the finish line (the Eiffel Tower);
- Enter a valid email address at the end of this section and click “Enter the drawing.”
Each player can play as many times as they like, but is eligible for only one entry in the drawing, regardless of the number of games played (one entry per email address). Games played using a “secret code” do not qualify for entry. The score achieved does not affect the odds of winning.
Any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, or submitted using an automated process will be considered invalid.
Article 5 – Funding
The Contest offers a single prize: a gift certificate worth €100 (including tax), valid on forlife-paris.com for 6 months from the date of issuance. The prize is non-transferable; it cannot be exchanged, refunded, or converted into cash. In the event of force majeure, the Organizer reserves the right to replace it with a prize of equivalent value.
Article 6 – Selection of the Winner
The winner will be selected by random drawing on November 20, 2026, from among all valid entries. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the drawing. If the winner does not respond within 15 days of receiving the notification, the prize will be reallocated through a new random drawing.
Article 7 – Personal Data
The email addresses collected are used to administer the Contest (entry, selection, and contact of the winner). They are used to send the forlife newsletter only if the participant has checked the box provided for that purpose. They are neither sold nor transferred to third parties; they are hosted by our email service provider, Klaviyo. Entry data is retained until the end of the Contest and the awarding of the prize.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, each participant has the right to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of their data, which they may exercise via the “Contact Us” page on forlife-paris.com. Each newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link.
Article 8 – Liability
The Organizer shall not be held liable in the event of a malfunction of the Internet, the player’s equipment, or any event beyond its control that prevents the Game from proceeding as planned. The Organizer reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify, or cancel the Game if circumstances so require, without incurring any liability.
If the Contest is shared on social media, those platforms are neither the organizers nor the sponsors of the Contest.
Article 9 – Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules, which are available free of charge at any time on this page. The Contest is governed by French law.
