Sam, the tired pant

A straight cut pant from the military wardrobe in thick cotton twill, for a casual and modern look. A good alternative to chino or jeans, to be worn all year round and without moderation!

AMERICAN SAM

Like many pieces that have become icons of men's clothing today, the fatigue pant has its origins in military clothing. The latter is an emblematic pant of the US Army: it is theuniform of American soldiers from the 1950s to 1980 and especially during the Vietnam War whose image is associated with it. Easily recognizable with its large front patch pockets and its olive color, it quickly became more than a uniform, an everyday pant for soldiers who appreciate its comfort and practicality. So we gave him this little name in reference to old uncle Sam ;)

THE MATERIAL

Like any self-respecting workwear and military piece, we opted for a thick 445g/m2 100% cotton twill fabric: a tight weave that makes the fabric robust, while keeping a certain elasticity for comfort. A fabric that can be worn in any season and provides a good alternative to chino or jeans.

THE CUP

The cut of our fatigue pant is straight, with more ease in the thighs, and a little tighter in the calves for a casual style. With an inseam length of 73cm for a size 30, you can wear it without or with hem if you prefer a 7/8th length.

As for the details, we have kept the 2 large pockets in the front that make the fatigue pant special and which have the advantage of being very practical! They are highlighted by a rivet on the side. There are also 2 back pockets.

We advise you to take your usual size! Between 2 sizes, you can take the size above to be comfortable.

SAM THE EUROPEAN

Sam is produced from A to Z in Europe: the fabric comes from Troficolor, a Portuguese company. The cotton is cultivated in Spain, then dyed at Pizzaro in Portugal with a pigment dye, more respectful of the environment. The manufacture of your fatigue pant is entrusted to Crivedi, a Portuguese factory specialized in pants.
Our SAM pants are Oeko-tex certified, which guarantees that your piece does not contain chemicals that are harmful to your health.
