After the release of the suit last week, we come back to propose you a new iconic piece of the men's wardrobe: the twill overshirt, much less formal than the blazer jacket, we grant you, but just as essential ;)
Meet Rodney: the overshirt
We named it Rodney in reference to the famous American skateboarder, because it has that cool, urban look that you want to wear with everything! It's somewhere between an overshirt and a jacket: if its shape is the same as a shirt (collar, cut, reinforcement swallow...), its thickness will allow you to wear it like a jacket on many different occasions.
Material: Rodney is quite similar to a jacket in its thickness, this piece is 100% organic cotton, with a weight of 445g/m2. The cotton twill is a tight weave that makes the fabric strong, but still has a certain elasticity for comfort.
Shape: The cut is similar to that of our Ralph shirts, but more casual, with a fold in the back for more comfort when worn with a t-shirt.
Details: As with a shirt, we have chosen to offer you a model with two chest pockets. These are buttoned with horn buttons, made by a French company. The same buttons are present on the sleeves to close them at your convenience. There are also reinforcing swallows on the sides, to ensure solidity!
Colours: Rodney is available in 3 colours:
- in cream, slightly speckled, for more uniqueness
- in navy blue, classic
- and in khaki:)
How to wear the twill overshirt:
Rodney, is a piece that can be worn in any season! Open over a t-shirt on cool summer evenings, in mid-season as a jacket and under a coat in winter! A real all-purpose piece, that you can easily match with your chinos, jeans... for stylish, comfortable and casual looks!
And because we don't change a winning team, we still work with the same trusted workshops: Rodney overshirts are woven in Portugal in the Troficolor workshops and made at Brunex, our partner workshop specialised in shirt making.
