Introducing ELVIS, your jeans for life
So yes, 3 years may seem like a lot, but we struggled to find the piece that meets all our requirements: a jean with a timeless cut, made responsibly in the best factories, and especially a piece that will last over time and grow with you. Elvis and you, it's the beginning of a long love story!
ITALIAN SELVEDGE FABRIC
What is selvedge?
First things first: for our jeans, it was essential for us to have a selvedge fabric. Easily recognizable thanks to its red border on the reverse side of the jeans, this fabric has the advantage of having a tighter weave than a classic denim, and therefore being more resistant over time.
Green jeans
We wanted this jean to be as responsible as possible because we want to produce the best quality with the least impact on the environment. For this, we selected an Italian selvedge fabric from Candiani, one of the only denim workshops located in Europe, and especially the most ecological in the world! Located in an Italian natural park, it is certified GOTS and V-Sizing, which guarantees the non-use of chemicals. The washing methods used (Eflow and Ozono) also consume less water.
A jean that weighs
Our fabric is made of 100% organic cotton, which has the advantage of using less water than standard cotton. But most importantly, we chose it thick so that your jeans will grow with you and develop a patina over time. Its weight is between 14 ¾ and 15 ¼ OZ depending on the wash, when most jeans on the market are between 11 and 13 OZ. No doubt it will be with you for life!
4 DECLINATIONS
TIMELESS CUT
We worked on the cut so that it is neither too slim nor too wide, just what is needed to be comfortable: a timeless semi-slim cut that fits a maximum of morphologies!
2 lengths
And above all, we thought of the long legs and we propose you 2 lengths: a standard length, and a "TALL" length with 5cm of leg more!
Manufacturing in Portugal
For the manufacturing, we trusted Lamosa, our partner based in Porto and specialized in the manufacture of pants. They have already made your Charles velvet pants!
YOU IN ELVIS
About twenty of you accepted to go in front of the camera to try our Elvis jeans and the verdict is clear: take your usual size! Our jeans are already available at forlife at 14 rue Froissart. You too, come and try them on !
