Louis, the velvet shirt

A corduroy version of our iconic Ralph oxford shirt: a perfect fit already validated by nearly 5,000 of you. A French fabric from Velcorex, a company specialized in velvet since 1828. Made in Portugal by Brunex, the shirt specialists. What else ? 😎

Tested and approved cut

The fit is the same as our iconic Ralph, Andrew or Hugh shirts: tight but comfortable. A cut tested and approved by nearly 5000 of you! A simple shirt to wear on any occasion and easy to match: casual with an overshirt over a t-shirt or dressy with a chino.

Our product team worked on the finishing touches to bring more sophistication to this piece: button down collar that stays in place, reinforcement swirls and pearl buttons. With or without pocket, it's your choice!

Velvet made in France

Our fabric comes from Velcorex, a French company that has been around since 1828 and specializes in velvet. A 100% organic cotton velvet with fine ribs, chic and warm (and shocking!). Your pieces are made at our partner Brunex in Portugal, specialized in shirts. 

Good for the planet !

Our Louis shirts are produced on a pre-order basis in order to produce as little as possible and to avoid waste.

🌱 The cotton used is organic, less water intensive than conventional cotton (it consumes about half as much water), less polluting because it consumes less carbon dioxide and does not use products that are harmful to humans and the planet.

Our shirts are certified:

✔️BCI (better cotton initiative), which aims to reduce the environmental impact of cotton cultivation and improve welfare and economic development for smallholders.

✔️OEKO TEX: this certification guarantees that your piece does not contain chemicals that are harmful to health.

✔️GOTS: The GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification is a worldwide standard that is based on very strict environmental and social criteria and certifies dignified working conditions and respect for the environment.
