We know you're waiting impatiently for our very first pair of jeans: just a little more patience! In the meantime, we're tackling another piece from the same family: the denim shirt. A must-have in the men's wardrobe, a piece of character that will develop a patina over time and bring a plus to your outfits! We present you our interpretation of this iconic piece:

John, the denim shirt

As some of you have just received your Serge chambray shirt, you are probably wondering: what is the difference between John and Serge? John is from Nîmes, and Serge is from Cambrai. While these two fabrics may look similar visually, denim has the particularity of being denser, more robust and having that patina over time, whereas chambray will be more airy and fluid.

Material: Our product team has selected a 215g/m2 fabric that is thick enough to be worn next to the skin or as an overshirt in all seasons. The denim brings strength to the cotton and allows it to be worn impeccably. It is a fabric that lives, patina and embellishment over time. It is a piece that will never leave your wardrobe and that will accompany you for years (just like your favourite jeans ;) )

Fit: we have chosen a classic cut and added a back pleat for more freedom of movement and comfort. We've added two front pockets for style and practicality! There is even a slot for your glasses :)

Details: we opted for a simple and effective French collar and buttons made from recycled materials. John will be available in 3 colours: light denim, blue denim and raw denim.

HOW TO WEAR A DENIM SHIRT?

Do we really need to answer this question? Denim goes with EVERYTHING, and you can testify to that.

The denim shirt is a real all-rounder: it adapts perfectly to all seasons. Quite casual, it goes with a chino as well as with jeans for a total denim look if you dare. You can wear it over a simple t-shirt if you want to open it up or on its own - the choice is yours!

You can take your usual size. It fits like our Ralph, Hugh and Andrew summer shirts.

Our John shirts are woven in Portugal at Troficolor, a Portuguese workshop that has become a real reference in terms of denim and chambray fabrics, and made at Brunex, our partner workshop specialised in shirt making. They will be produced just for you in pre-order and at the fair price of 79 euros!
