It's here, the buds are blooming, the days are getting longer and a slight sweetness of life is being felt ... yes yes, it is indeed summer coming! And if there's one question that comes up in our DMs every summer, it's "when do you make shorts?" Last year, we didn't finish the prototypes on time and we know it, we had some disappointments. This year, we're making up for it! Here you go,
JACKSON, THE CHINO SHORTS
This is the short version of our iconic Jack chino (Jackson, Jack's son, do you have it? 😅). The must-have for any self-respecting summer wardrobe: a fitted yet comfortable fit just above the knee, a cotton fabric with a peach skin feel, it will accompany your summer outfits with elegance and casualness.
PEACH SKIN TOUCH FABRIC
As on the last version of our chino pants, we opted for a fabric made in Portugal composed of 78% cotton and 20% recycled cotton, with a weight of 290g/m2 for a solidity at any test! We added 2% elastane for optimal comfort and this peach skin finish that we love!
THE CUP
The cut is the same as for our chino pants, so it's slightly fitted, and the shorts are cut just above the knee with enough width for a total freedom of movement and an optimal comfort (again and again!). But if you prefer it shorter, you can of course hem it in 2 times, 3 movements.
We thought it would go with all your summer outfits, from casual to chic. It will go as well with a linen shirt (like our Andrew shirt currently on pre-order), a seersucker shirt (coming soon), a polo shirt or a light knit for a casual chic look, as with our Marlon t-shirt or our (future) oversize t-shirt to accentuate the streetwear and casual side.
THE FORLIFE SIGNATURE
As with our chino, every detail has been carefully thought out so that our chino shorts can accompany you for a long time: 2 front Italian pockets and 2 welt pockets with buttons on the back with reinforcement barretacks, a horn button closure engraved forlife. The inner lining is contrasted for more elegance.
And as a bonus, the V of ease in the back of the waistband, a signature seam often used by tailors and custom clothing that gives it more style.
