APERO, SKATE & SUN

Just one year ago, we were taking our first steps in our new location on Rue Froissart, finishing the last brushstrokes of our forlife logo on the now famous shop front: the first milestones of what is now our showroom-conciergerie were laid. Since then, many of you have walked through the doors!

To celebrate the 1st year of the shop, we invite you to meet us for a beer with the whole team

This event is also an opportunity to unveil a special project that has been in the making for some time and that is close to our hearts.

As you may know, Lucas and Séverin, the co-founders of forlife, were brought up with surf and skate culture. When we took over the shop, we kept a part of it (the back of the shop for those who know!) including a whole wall of wooden skateboards. So of course, it clicked in our skater's heart; we thought we had to do something cool and useful, always with the idea of not wasting anything and not throwing anything away!

With the help of the team ofUrban Signatureteam, a major street-art player and co-organiser of the @boardstobesolidaireproject, we have asked a dozen artists to customise these boards, which will be sold for the benefit of the Paris Federation of Secours populaire français.

What better way to discover them than in our showroom with its gallery-like atmosphere?
As you may have guessed, the shop will be transformed into an exhibition space for an evening to welcome these works as a preview - before the official exhibition and sale which will take place during thestreet art x secours pop festival in Paris on June 17-18. An opportunity to acquire a unique and meaningful work (and also to take a little piece of the forlife shop with you ;))
